AIQ DIPLOMA IN PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal Training course content and delivery/assessment method

The Personal Trainer course consists of 6 units:

  1. Applied Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Fitness

  2. Principles of Nutrition for Exercise and Health

  3. Understanding Lifestyle, Wellbeing and Common Medical Conditions

  4. Encouraging Positive Health and Fitness Behaviours

  5. Programme Design and Delivery for Personal Training

  6. Professionalism and Business Acumen for Personal Trainers

 

Taught element (taught courses only):

You will receive 10 taught days during which you will learn all practical elements of the course. We will teach you advanced physical screening and training modalities and methods so that you can effectively programme exercise for a range of clients.

Elearning element:

You will elearning resources including manuals that gives you the knowledge that you need to back up your practical ability.

Assessments:

Assessments are completed via learning (attendance at a centre is only required to complete the practical exam.

Course duration:

You have up to 12 months to complete your course. However, it is common for students to complete their Personal Trainer qualification in 3-6 months.

Don't forget, you'll need to complete your Fitness Coaching course as a pre-requisite to the Personal Training course :-)
