Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults (RQF) 

 

A 1 day course over 6 guided learning hours a maximum of 12 learners

The course is suitable for those staff that may have issues with Safeguarding within schools, colleges, children’s services, healthcare professionals, sports clubs and others working in an environment where individuals are likely to find themselves at risk.

Syllabus 

A range of subjects are covered including: Safeguarding legislation and guidance, indictors of abuse or neglect, making judgements, communication, roles and responsibilities, sharing of information, dealing with and reporting of allegations and complaints.

Numbers 

A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and all candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to qualify.

Certification 

You will be issued a Nuco Training Instructor Certificate, as well as a Level 3 Ofqual regulated certificate. It is recommended that you refresh your knowledge annually and maintain records and Continuing Professional Development.
